and getting colder by the minute.  We have the "cow cam" set up to watch for overnight deliveries, we are heading into a stretch of 20 to 30 below weather and our first cows of the season are due any day now.  I wish that the mommas would experience shock from the cold weather and not deliver until it warms up but as with all births  as soon as there is a change in the weather, babies come.    Stay warm!

Jim is a celebrity!!  Well, to us he is.  Sara Sontag and Justin Goodroad from the Chisago FFA chapter were out to our farm today.  They are working on an independent study program.  They are making livestock videos to be shown by the Chisago High School Ag department.  They came to discuss miniatures and full size beef and their differences.  Jim may be in an educational video somewhere someday and that's celebrity enough for us.
