About Us
Welcome to Lakes Area Miniature Herefords, home of Jim, Jen, Emma, Abby, and Elle Penzenstadler. We live in Chisago City, Minnesota on a farm with Miniature herefords, full size herefords, rabbits, two dogs, and two cats.
During the summer, we spend most of our time going to shows with our herefords. Some of our shows include the Chisago County fair, Isanti County Fair, the Iowa State Fair where they hold one of the biggest Midwest Miniature Hereford shows, and Minnesota State Fair where we attend the first four days for 4H and the last four days for FFA and Open Show. We also attend the Minnesota Beef Expo in October along with a few other shows through out the year.
We are members of the Miniature Hereford Breeders Association and the American Hereford Association.
